4 Week Pinch Pot Course

A Pinch Pot is a simple form of hand-made pottery produced from ancient times to the present. The act of pinching is a tactile and mindful technique and can be used to create beautiful organic shapes in a variety of smooth or decorative textures.

Over the course, you will create a selection of functional ceramics for your home, including; 1 large bowl, 1 large mug or 2 small cups, 1 small plate, a small vase and a 'freestyle finisher' inspired by everything you made thus far. The studio has a range of house glazes, which you will assign to each piece using a corresponding mark on their base. Your work will then be glazed and fired whereafter they will be food safe and ready to collect.
